RPWF is made up of incredibly talented women - women with both professional and personal life experiences that have changed them. They have lots of stories to share.  Our December program will focus on stories of holiday traditions, experiences, challenges, and memories by three of our members.   

Lisa Grele Barrie, launched Grounded_LGB LLC in July after 13 years as the CEO of NC Theatre.  She will share her “Tale of Two Island Memories” that is told through the lens of 30 years of traveling over the holidays with her husband and family.  Her stories will honor both the darkness and the light in our lives, during the holidays and every day we walk the earth.

Debbie Hamrick, Director of Specialty Crops for the agriculture advocacy organization, North Carolina Farm Bureau Federation. Throughout her adult life Debbie has sent entertaining Christmas letters documenting life events, her extensive international travels and the great people who've been part of the journey. She'll provide an uplifting reflection of 32 years of Christmas letters curated from a great life.

As a fitting end to our storytelling, Linda Gorham is an award winning professional storyteller who will help us each learn to tell our own stories through tips and some light-hearted exercises!  For the past 25 years, Linda engaged audiences with interactive folktales, distinctive myths, notably twisted fairy tales, riveting well-researched historical stories, and humorously heartfelt stories about family life.
